Avid Alexander originates from our founder, David Alexander Bieber, who is an Avid entrepreneur and explorer. We believe that every business is unique and geared for success and by understanding the team’s goals, personality, and ambitions mixed with the space they are operating in, optimal solutions can be put in place to run and grow the business more efficiently and effectively.
We are changing the way products are developed and distributed, particularly Rehabilitation Health products, and are creating major advances in customer and patient care by collaborating across the team and community. Founder, CEO, & COO
David Bieber is a Strategy, Operations, and Marketing Executive with extensive experience in growing and managing fast paced and high growth businesses. David is the Founder and CEO of Avid Alexander, the Director of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at PandoLabs, a community of entrepreneurs, capital providers, mentors, consultants, and student apprentices, and the CEO and COO of EDX2, LLC, an orthopaedic medical products incubator. David received a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Duke University. He has served as a Duke University Alumni Admissions Advisory Committee Interviewer for over 10 years. David founded and ran a strategic management consulting firm and a micro venture capital fund that provided business development services in the healthcare, retail, and education industries. David was an Author of the National Retail Federation (NRF) Association for Retail Technology Standards (ARTS) Social Retailing Blueprint, a Coordinator and Strategist for the MicroStrategy 2015 Vision Project, and the Marketing lead for the MicroStrategy Strategic Business Development Group.
David is a born leader, entrepreneur, and problem-solver with a passion for solving difficult problems that require an agile, attentive to detail, driven, and goal-oriented individual who has the ability to delegate and communicate effectively. He has proven leadership skills, is a big picture thinker, designs efficient processes, and will bring a new way of thinking to the business and systems. With every challenge and endeavor that David takes on, he does so with an intensity, drive, and attentiveness to detail that makes even the simplest task complex and exciting.
Dr. Stephen Thomas, PhD, ATC
Stephen Thomas is an assistant professor in the Department of Kinesiology at Temple University. He completed his undergraduate and master’s degree in Kinesiology, at Temple University. He then earned his PhD in Biomechanics & Movement Science at the University of Delaware. Dr. Thomas received an NIH F32 postdoctoral research fellowship in the bioengineering of tendon at the McKay Orthopadic Research Laboratory at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Thomas has research expertise in the adaptation of tissues to stress and overuse specifically at the shoulder. He is the former President of the American Society of Shoulder and Elbow Therapists. He is also a consultant for the Philadelphia Phillies and the Penn Throwing Clinic.
His training in both basic science and applied research methods allows him to address clinically relevant questions with translation approaches thereby bridging the gap between bench and bedside. His initial work has contributed to the understanding of tissue adaptations in throwing athletes and how they relate to overuse shoulder injuries using novel diagnostic ultrasound methods. In addition, his basic science work studying the tissue and biologic adaptations to chronic rotator cuff tears and the effects of type II diabetes has also helped progress the current field. His current research agenda is two-fold and includes integration of translational research to investigate 1) the structural and biologic mechanisms governing soft tissue adaptation caused by the repetitive stress of throwing and the association with throwing biomechanics and 2) the structural, neuromuscular, and biologic adaptations occurring due to chronic rotator cuff tears and repairs.
Dr. Edward Bieber, M.D., M.B.A.
Chief Medical Officer
Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and also in Hand Surgery, Dr. Bieber graduated from Yale University and Georgetown University School of Medicine, and continued his orthopaedic training at Johns Hopkins University followed by a fellowship in hand and upper extremity at the Mayo Clinic. He is a consultant for hand and upper extremity surgery at the National Institutes of Health.
Dr. Bieber has served as Chairman of the Department of Surgery, Chairman of Orthopaedics, and Chairman of the Medical Staff at Suburban Hospital (a member of the Johns Hopkins Health System), as President of the Washington Orthopaedic Society, and as President of the Southeastern Hand Society.
Audrey Drossner, CPA, AIF®, PFP
Audrey is the Founding Member of Oracle Capital Strategies, which provides a unique, straightforward, and comprehensive process to manage your wealth. Audrey graduated with a B.S. degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business. She is a Certified Public Accountant and completed the Security Industry Institute at the Wharton School. Audrey was a former VP of Wealth Advisor and Planning Services at Legg Mason, a former Partner at SC & H, and a Sr. Tax Manager at Coopers and Lybrand (currently Pricewaterhouse Coopers). She holds the Personal Financial Specialist designation from the AICPA and is a Registered Representative of Symphonic Securities, LLC.
Dr. Craig Bowen, DPT

Dr. Craig Bowen is a Doctor of Physical Therapy at University Health System in San Antonio Texas where he focuses on orthopedics and sports medicine. He was a former delegate representing New Jersey within the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) House of Delegates, is the founder and owner of Point Beach Solutions, LLC, a personal and corporate development consulting firm that opens up new possibilities for companies and individuals by creating healthier working environments.
Dr. Bowen authors the personal development blog, DPTpersective.com, and has an upcoming book, The Power Script Process, due out in the summer of 2019. Dr. Bowen began his career in New Jersey where he worked at the CentraState Healthcare System, volunteered for the Special Olympics National Games providing athletes with exercise programs, received service awards from both the APTA National Student Assembly and the Rutgers School of Health Related Professions, and advocated multiple times for the profession of physical therapy on Capitol Hill.

Teddy Hodges believes strongly that a “person who has a strong enough why, can live with any how.” He is committed to taking the adversity of 11 knee surgeries, receiving two meniscus transplants, to make his journey, his message and help others.
Teddy has been involved in business and marketing for over ten years, where he has helped grow the annual internet marketing revenue of his family business by over 600%. He leads the digital and marketing infrastructure for Conesco Storage Systems where his efforts have surpassed $1M in annual revenue generated from his marketing. Teddy is also the Founder and CEO of BraceUnder, a custom compression garment system that can be fully customized for your needs, previous injuries, and your lifestyle. The system is made of a baselayer compression tight and reusable orthopedic tension tape. The tape can be added when you need it, where you need it, and how you need it for a truly custom experience. Teddy continues to grow as an individual with a pre-med Bachelor’s of Science degree in Exercise Science, an Orthopedic Massage Therapy License, and a yoga teaching certificate.

Mike Wong is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of IKOS Toys, a company that provides a totally different take on building, creativity, and rehab, with interlocking SPHERICAL SHAPES that excite creativity and brain development. Mike is a Design Engineer with demonstrated success creating and developing highly-competitive designs intended for production. As a Design Engineer at Rehrig Pacific Company, Mike was the sole inventor/designer for three patented injection molded plastic products: a Storage Container (U.S. Patent 6,994,216), a Bottle Carrier (U.S. Patent 7,448,493), and a Litter Bin with pivotal lid and automatic latching mechanism (U.S. Patent 7,540,393).

Jennifer Kramer graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Health, Fitness, and Recreational Resources, Health Promotion Concentration and a Minor in Psychology from the George Mason University Honors College, where she was a member and captain of the varsity tennis team. Jennifer is currently a Physical Therapy Student at the University of Utah and Operations Manager and Rehabilitation Specialist for EDX2, LLC, an orthopaedic medical products incubator. She was most recently a Research Assistant at the University of Utah Orthopaedic Center and Patient Care Coordinator for KagenMD, a medical concierge practice.

Shaun Roberts is a Senior at Park City High School. She is the President of the Future Business Leaders of America, a National Honor Society Representative, President of the National Charity League, a swim instructor and lifeguard, a Swaner Nature Preserve Volunteer, and President of the Park City Conservation Council. She is a problem solver, driven, detail-oriented, and a big picture thinker.
